Evidence
These decisions weren't guesses.
Spaced review follows the FSRS schedule, wrong answers rely on retrieval practice, and “you know it when you can teach it” comes from learning by teaching. Below is the research we actually built on. Click a title to read it.
- Why this page exists
- We say things like “review on a scientific schedule” and “you know it when you can explain it.” Claims like that need sources. This page is the sources themselves, not decoration at the bottom of a page.
- How they were checked
- 18 of the 21 have a DOI, and every one was verified against CrossRef: titles and years match. Click a title to open the original. The other three are books (Vygotsky 1978, Erikson 1950, Dweck 2006) and never had DOIs. We are not inventing one.
- What we deliberately don't do
- You won't find citation badges next to product features. Live captions, OCR, PPTX export are engineering; they have no psychology source, and pinning one on would be fake rigor. Every paper here backs a learning practice, nothing else.
